The Egress Pros difference

Look at operation and the complete route, not only the closed window.

Inward opening keeps the sash out of the well

The Egress Pros window approach opens into the basement. That keeps the moving sash from occupying the exterior well area. Indoors, the selected window still needs enough clear space to move fully, so room layout matters.

An outward-opening sash can require operating space in the well and may be affected by an obstruction outside. Compare the actual operating sequence rather than choosing a system solely from its appearance when closed.

Make the escape sequence understandable

Review handles, screens, the usable opening, the well, cover or grate, and the means of climbing out. Ask for product documentation and a demonstration of the selected components. Nominal frame size alone does not establish the usable opening.

Put care for the property into the scope

Discuss hand excavation, access, soil handling, existing landscaping, interior protection, and restoration with the team. The final method and schedule follow the site and agreed scope. Keep unexpected-condition and change-approval procedures visible in the proposal.
