Agree the opening package

Confirm the selected window and well, dimensions, access features, cover, water-management scope, and structural documents where required. Share room layouts and any nearby utility or equipment conflicts before scheduling.

Build the inspection sequence into the schedule

Identify application and inspection responsibilities, approval lead times, and stages that must remain accessible. Coordinate the window work with excavation, waterproofing, framing, insulation, and drywall so work is not concealed prematurely.

Plan the site logistics

Confirm access from the street or drive, soil handling, material staging, interior protection, and the restoration limits. Document known repairs, drainage arrangements, and hidden-condition procedures. Obtain change approval before expanding the scope.

Define completion

List the handover items: operation demonstration, product instructions, agreed trim and repairs, exterior restoration, cleanup, and inspection records where applicable. Make the owner’s maintenance responsibilities understandable.
